I would not recommend this shop. The front desk customer service was consistently rude and unprofessional, making me feel more like an inconvenience than a customer. They didn’t even address the main issue I brought my car in for. Instead, they tried to push repairs for minor problems that weren’t a priority, and the prices quoted were unreasonably high. I ended up only paying for the diagnostic, which was already overpriced, and even then, they failed to properly diagnose the original problem I came in with. Overall, very disappointing experience. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I have been using Golden Rule Automotive since I moved to Coviington. They always do a great job. Everyone is so pleasant and professional. Elaine in the front office is always so great to work with. She is wonderful getting cars in and so efficient always letting me know what is going on. I appreciate having people I trust with my cars which I personally know very little about!!

Charged $189, to diagnose that my driver side window needed a window regulator cable. Said took apart to check but never did. Just used window control to here grounding sound confirming it needed that part. Then told me mechanic is going to put door back together, didn't have to since they never took it apart. Then to get needed part and labor was over $1.300. I naturally declined. I got a mechanic from a friend and only cost me $100.00 to take apart door and replace the window regulator cable that only cost me $55.00. Saving me over $1,000. Golden Rule Automotive lied to me about taking door apart and checking, also highly over charging to replace part. I recommend going somewhere else seriously.

I had an unexpected breakdown over Labor Day weekend, and Golden Rule Auto Services truly lived up to their name. My battery had issues, and they not only fixed and hooked it up properly but also went above and beyond with their service. A special thank you to Elaine and the dependable Technicians, whose effort and excellent customer service made all the difference. Because of her and the team’s dedication, I was able to get back on the road safely and with peace of mind. I’m so grateful for their honesty, care, and professionalism. I would highly recommend Golden Rule Auto Services to anyone in need of trustworthy and dependable auto care.
