Golden Rule Automotive doesn’t follow the golden rules of business. I took my 2005 Tahoe to them because of a check engine light and a noise I was hearing in the engine compartment on a Tuesday morning . I advise the lady in the front that I needed the truck for the weekend and if they think it was impossible for them to get to it then I would go somewhere else. She took my vehicle and reassured me. I didn’t hear from them on Friday so I called. She told me she would give me a call back but she didn’t. I called again on Monday morning and she said they are still running test. Really, just say anything to get me off the phone. I didn’t get another call until the following Wednesday and she said it maybe EVAP canister and it would cost $450 to replace. As a professional mechanic shop I need you to know exactly what it is and what about my other issue. She said well you can just pick the truck back up and I did. Meanwhile, I had to rent a U Haul truck for the next weekend. RUN not WALK! This shop takes in too much but, cannot handle the load!
