My old truck I purchased 2 years ago has 280,965 miles on it. When I took it to a local quick lube shop for along overdue oil change, I was told that it had a last chance oil pan plug and they would not change the oil but would have to change the oil pan and gasket. They quoted over $500 so I took it to Golden Rule. they also quoted a high price but recommended that I make an appointment so a mechanic could take a look and it to see if there was something else that could be done. I made the appointment, and the mechanic told me that he could just loosen the plug, let the oil drain and retighten that plug, but I needed to monitor the plug to make sure that it was not coming lose. He inspected everything else, told me I needed a new exhaust system and my bill was just under $30.00. I will be back.

They go out of their way to help their customers. I needed an oil change and I had another appointment after. I had allowed what I thought was enough time, but they finished 35 minutes before I expected! They really exceeded my expectations!

A couple of weeks after parts in the front suspension that were worn out had been replaced, a rattle appeared. I was worked in the next morning and the problem quickly resolved at no charge. That is a sign that Golden Rule backs up its name without hesitation.

My car threw it's belt tension pulley while I was traveling. I took it to Golden Rule at 8 AM and got it back at 3 PM the same day. Friendly, good quality work, very reasonable price.
